‘… Although it may seem ‘quiet’ it requires careful attention. The subtle allusions to textile patterns illustrated in this fascinating history are so delicately applied that they become totally integrated with the surface of the grey suede front and interior ’screen’ flaps which open out … It is a binding which grows on one and could well last the test of time and fashions without being dull. …’ – review ‘the silk road’ by Faith Shannon, Fellow of Designer Bookbinders, UK

In 2006, Young established a craftsmanship company ‘Home & Book’ in London to present Far Eastern Arts & Crafts to the EU.

Products are made to the highest possible quality standards. Items are designed and crafted using a combination of modern production techniques and traditional skills.

The company stands for fair trading for gifted artists, designers and craftsmen in the world and proudly represent the artisans’ names and works to valuable customers.
